Picking out the tree at the Christmas Tree Lot.....(AKA - Target) We are totally into the ambiance of the experience (:)

Jeremy and I desperately want a fireplace in our house. This wall in our family room is the perfect place. The only problem is that we really only need it for 5 seconds out of the whole year 'cause its soooo hot here. This year we decided to at least give the illusion that we have one. This pic was taken after a little Christmas party with some of Jeremy's friends from work - the theme was cheesy Christmas. (No - Jeremy does not typically dress like this)

We had our friend's, The Rich's, over for a little ginger bread house building. As always - there were lots of laughs and good times! Emma and Ellie taking a break from this strenous activity.

Ethan and Sadie.

Jayden with some help from his dad.

Alison - showing off her creation.

This is a picture taken on Christmas Eve. Ethan got some Reindeer food from school and we were so excited to go out and sprinkle it on the lawn. (Side note - Ethan loved wearing this Santa hat and beard. He wore it on a bike ride with his dad, and he wore it to deliver gifts to our friends around the neighborhood. Ethan is a classic! - I'm glad he had such a great little sense of humor. )

Ellie and Dad enjoying our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of scones and fruit! YUM YUM!!!

Owen wasn't quite up for tradition yet. He stuck to the safe bet - FORMULA!!

So - we had no family visiting this year (Boo hoo). When it came time for the Christmas pageant, I got to play lots of parts...Here I am (as the donkey of course) with Mary and Joseph and a little stray animal.

After the pageant, its time to sing some carols. (Why is Owen still wearing that nasty bib?)

Christmas morning. The kids woke up so so so early. They are great to just sit down there and relish the moment until Jeremy and I can drag ourselves out of bed.

Our kids always like to pick out a present for eachother and this year was no different. Ellie recently lost one of her dear Littlest Pet shop friends at school (YES - Why did she take it to school in the first place? - I was asking the same thing!) - But never-the-less, she was devastated! Ethan found her a replacement Chinchilla and as you can see here, she was so elated. I LOVE that they are such good friends and soo sweet to eachother....Mostly!

Owen really had no clue what was going on - he got some sweet cars and a couple other things and then moved on to what most babies like to do.....

Play with the paper!!!!

After another sucessful Christmas.... We let daddy take a nice long nap. He deserved it! He always makes the holidays so much fun!

Also, lately I've been thinking about how lucky you guys are to be living in Arizona...I'm getting to that point where I just can't take the cold anymore! Miss you guys! :)
That fireplace is rockin'! Great job Jeremy! It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas. We wish we were closer so that we could have spent it with you. Love ya!
