A new tradition born of an old one... and FUN F.H.E.

So we decided that on Fast Sunday that we are waayy too starving to make the kids surprise sandwiches, so we came up with the idea that they could make each other S.S.'s on the first Sunday of every month. YIKES. After Ethan unloaded about a gazillion pixie sticks atop a pile of P.B, I realized that perhaps they need some parameters!:)

Ellie is always soo creative in everything she does. Love the use of the apple to hold the skewer. Also, please note the impaled gummy bears. A nice touch!!!

Another cute thing was FHE the very next day. The kids taught the lesson and did a little puppet show with the puppets they spent all of Sunday making. (These are the things we do here on Sundays because we have no grandma's to visit, or siblings/cousins to hang out with. Good thing we have GREAT neighbors too!)

I love how creative they are and that they worked soo hard (and did not rip the couch apart to build a fort-did I say that??:)) and came up with such a cute little story!
