When we first moved to Gilbert, we were quickly introduced to "Joe's Real BBQ". Every year they have a customer appreciation day where they serve free food all day. Those who know us well would guess that this would be an event we could not pass up. It's become a day that we look forward to with great anticipation. Great times (waiting in line), great food and great friends to share it with!!!
Here are a few of our "friends"!!! :) This year it took us about an hour and 15 minutes. (Well worth it)
We got to introduce Jeremy's cousin Brent to the tradition as well as our old neighbor from California (Felipe). The Rich's are always ready for the fun - this was their 2nd year!!! (Not to mention, it was the 2nd time Jill and I had eaten there that day) YUMMY!!PS - I promise we don't just eat there because it's free. It has become a place that we love to take visitors from out of town because the food is soooo good!!

Yeah - It was soo tasty and we did miss you guys this year!! I wanted to call the Hinton's and laugh with them about last year when they spent 5 minutes in line with us:)
Why was Brent in town? Business or something, I'm assuming. :-) Miss you guys tons!
Well I guess you will have to take us there next time we come for a visit. It must be good food to wait over an hour for....although I guess you camp overnight for food too.
Yeah Maggs - it was pretty funny when people were complaining about how long the line was, Jeremy and I were just glad we didn't have to bring a tent and sleep there - although the kids are always up for those adventures!!!
No need to be ashamed! I would be all over that! Wish I could have beent there to enjoy it with you! Was anything spicy enough to send me into labor?!
