So here he is.....Owen Aris Johnson. He entered the world on March 14, 2008 at a whopping 3 lbs 8 ounces. He was a little early and way too small, so he had a little time to spend in the Special Care Nursery. Here he is on day 1 with his monitors and IV.
I love this pic of Jeremy. We were both so overcome with emotion after waiting so long to add to our family and then have this "little big man" come into our lives, it was INCREDIBLE!!!
Here is another shot that shows how tiny he is. I am surprised he can even take that paci - his mouth is soo tiny.
I tried to take a little video of Owen making his cute baby noises. This is how we spend our days in the NICU.

I love the video. It is good to see him awake. The video that I shot of him just shows him sleeping. I am so glad that he is gaining weight and doing great! It was so fun to visit with you on your b-day Mary even though it was waaaaayyyy too short. Hopefully we will get to see Owen again soon when I can hold him and smooch him! Love you guys! We are SO HAPPY for you!!!
That picture of Jeremy got me all teary-eyed. I can't imagine the emotions you guys have been through with all of this. I'm so glad he is doing well and we can't wait to see our new little nephew. Love you guys!
Hey is so cute and tiny! He reminds me so much of what Branden look liked as a baby (not that they are similar - just that they both look like little old men:)) What kind of joke is that to play on a mom anyway? You expect a cherub and you get Grandpa Carlson! Anyway - congratulations on your sweet bundle! I am so glad he is so healthy and growing so darn quick! Miss you!
